Writing Space: Understairs Botanical Home Office

Understairs Botanical Home Office

I always love to see home offices that utilize the “wasted space” under stairs. Sometimes these spaces are cramped as the homeowner attempts to fit everything under the staircase. In this home office, the space is office storage combined with a light and airy office space directly beside it, tucked into a corner. I love the color combination of white desk and cabinets with brushed nickle fixtures and the lovely sage green chair that picks up the color from the various plants on the desk. A few touches of dark hardwood and rattan adds to the botanical feel. The navy hue architecture prints on the wall give a slight masculine touch.

  1. I just posted a picture of my own writing space and then I followed WordPress here. Love that airy space. I have no stairs, but I do have a bay window. There’s not much to my writing space yet, but I have time. 🙂
