I had the pleasure of appearing as a panelist on a new video podcast series for writers by YouTuber and author Andy Peloquin. My episode is entitled: How to Write a Good Book Review.
For around 30 minutes, three of us discuss writing reviews for blogs, what constitutes a good review on Amazon for authors and other writery goodness. I hope you’ll stop by and subscribe to this new series on YouTube.
Great podcast Wendy, Did you guys do that on Google hangouts then put it up on youtube?
Thanks for listening, DG! Andy used a service called Zoom. It has a basic free service and premium options. It was similar to a google hangout to use, no real learning curve. After the recording, Andy uploaded the podcast to his channel a day or two later.
Cool. I’m really going to get move involved with video in the new year. Thanks for sharing. I think they’re a great way to get up close and personal. ๐
I have been guest podcasting for this past year and find that I enjoy it. It reminds me of panel discussions that I sometimes do at science fiction conventions. ๐ So it is great practice for that too!
I’d imagine. I’m going to start watching more to get comfortable with it. Thanks Wendy. ๐
This is a really good tip especially to those fresh to the blogosphere.
Simple but very accurate informationโฆ Thanks for sharing this one.
A must read post!
I’m glad you enjoyed the podcast. ๐ It was certainly fun to participate on the panel. ๐
