This Victorian postcard serves as my valentine card to you all. Happy Valentine’s Day. I appreciate each and every one of you readers that stop by my blog and read my stories and poems.
The poem below is not one of mine, it is from the Victorian era, “Forget me Not”.
Forget me not
No other heart
Can ever be more true than mine
Though many loving friends surround
Thy sunny path, my Valentine
Merry Christmas from No Wasted Ink. While we don’t enjoy the snow that most people in the USA do during this time of year, it is still a time of decorated pine trees, Christmas cookies, and family gatherings. I hope your holiday is filled with good times and warm spirits.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American followers. May your day be filled with family, good friends, and plenty of turkey!
Happy Halloween from No Wasted Ink. May all the ghosts and goblins who visit your door be treated to sugary delights and well wishes. This vintage victorian postcard certainly captures the spirit of All Hallow’s Eve. I love the pumpkin faces especially.
Happy 4th of July to all my American readers! This is one of my favorite holidays to experience due to the gathering of friends, the BBQs and the fireworks at the end of the evening. However, the words on this vintage victorian era postcard remind us of the price of our freedom. “Hats off all along the line, when Freedoms Flag goes by!”
